Samoan Family Experience For A Single Traveller
Let us show you how a Samoan family lives each day. You will learn the Faasamoa ( Samoan Way of Living), a bit of culture, the language and get to know your host family and you will also get involved with their everyday activities. Please request other activities that you might want to do instead with a guide from your host family member so feel free to ask.
Your host family will provided you with secure accommodation and all meals during your staying.

Bush Walking
We have a lot of excellent areas for bush walking all around Samoa but we will confirm places to go when booking is made. All day and overnight trips can go from 1 to 4 days depending on the weather by a local guide with knowledge and experience for this tour. These activities are suitable for the adventurer who loves the bush and outdoor environment and would like to learn about our different species of native flowers, plants and more while bush walking. If you are fit and healthy and can put up with the humidity and the heat, then this is your thing.
Price – AUD20.00 per person per day includes water bottle. Accommodation prices can be arranged.
Nuulua and Nuutele Islands Explorer
These volcanic islands are remote from the mainland of Lalomanu located on the south east coast of Samoa and we are happy to take you to explore these two islands by boat with an experienced local guide with better navigation knowledge and experience for this all day trip. First is a stop at Nuulua where this island was cultivated by locals who were care takers of Nuulua a long time ago. It is home to a lot of migratory birds who make this island their home. Last is Nuutele hidden behind Nuulua where lots of local fishermen fish around this island and also home to lots of sea birds that migrate to Samoa during our dry season.
This trip is suitable for people from 18 years old and above who love to explore these remote islands and discover its history. You can join this trip if you are staying in Lalomanu or nearby and it requires a minimum of 5-8 people per trip as boat charge is fixed.

Dinner and Show Night Entertainment Tour
This is a must see during your visit to Samoa where locals perform spectacular Samoan Tradition Dance and Cultural Show every week in two of the recommended hotels and restaurants in town. Hotel Kitano's Show is on Thursdays at 7pm and Laumei Faiaga on Fridays at 7.30pm. We highly recommend this night tour to all our clients.

Aggie Grey's Hotel Visit
This hotel is located in Apia , Aggie's landmark hotel became famous during World War II as a resting place for war-weary American soldiers. Because of this, Aggie is considered the mother of tourism in Samoa . Her grave is on the hills of Afiamalu where she is buried on family property and a visit to her grave can be arranged.

Group Dinner in Samoan Style
Getaway Samoa Tours will be able to organize a group dinner from ten or more people in Samoan style. We will select a venue for this and supply all materials and equipment that are needed for this night and everything else to make this night memorable. All you have to do is to show up and feel free to dress up in Samoan decorative style provided by us for the night.
Children will enjoy this night so make sure they have a good rest during the day. We recommend Friday night for this dinner or we take requests from any groups of any other night they prefer.
