Information

You will be able to find out more information about Samoa with our links but for our clients you need to be aware about a few things such as:

People

  1. Be aware of people who try to sell or force you to buy things, it is best that you keep going and say no thank you.
  2. Most people are friendly and hospitable so its o.k to say hello or even shake hands to show respect and keep going. Be extremely careful with your belongings especially money so we recommend that you carry as much as you can everywhere you go. We guarantee the safety of your belongings in our secure premises if you prefer.

Shopping

  1. If you want to buy a souvenir or anything else it is better that you let us do the shopping for you. We will take you shopping first so we know what you want to buy before we do your shopping. We could advise you on strict quarantine regulations.

Animals

  1. The government of Samoa has just announced a new law for animals where they

should be kept inside fenced areas otherwise owners will face prosecution. We recommend that you walk on the seawall in Apia town only and nowhere else while the law is in its early stage to sort out the problem.

Friendship and Relationships

  1. If you would like to meet up with a local we recommend that you talk to us first to avoid confrontation from families and others. The Samoan family network is very strong here and your business becomes theirs so it is better we deal with this earlier on to guarantee your safety and the person you want to meet.

Clothing

  1. We recommend that you wear a sarong especially on Sunday if you attend church because it is an offense to locals especially the elderly in the village if you wear skimpy clothing.

Gifts and Donations

We urge you not to give money to children of any age unless you donate direct to school or hospital charities as a gift or donation so your generosity is well received and not the other way around. We will also be scheduling a visit once a week to hospitals and schools around Samoa to give support to our young people's education and for those suffering from health problems if you prefer to wait for this visit. Please let us know of anything else that you need to know in regards to donations and gifts
